1726: Melichar Janeczek Assumes Ownership of the Farm

Melichar Janeczek, as the youngest son, appeared before the segnorial court in 1726 to assume ownership of the farm. This was a full 10 years after the death of his father Matěj Janeczek in 1716. The reason for the delay assuming ownership of the farm is unknown.

The documents from the  Horažďovice Estate land books records the transfer, obligations to family, and to the estate. Additionally, it records each of the payments Melichar made on these obligations during his ownership of the farm.
